Your audio follows you.
Many glasses and headphones only connect to one device at a time. Scambio moves them to your computer when the computer plays audio, and hands them back to your phone when you're done.
See it in action
Music on the phone → press play on the PC → the glasses move to the PC. Lock the screen → they go back to the phone.
How it works
Download for Linux
The .deb is for Ubuntu 24.04+, Debian 13+ and distributions based on them (Linux Mint 22, Pop!_OS 24.04…); everywhere else, use Flatpak. Needs PipeWire and BlueZ, standard on current desktops.

Flatpak
Install with Flatpakflatpak install https://scambio.app/flatpak/scambio.flatpakref
Pair your glasses or headphones with the computer first, in your Bluetooth settings.
Tested on KDE Plasma. On GNOME, Cinnamon or COSMIC it isn't tested yet: the tray icon, the shortcut or the hand-back on screen lock may not work. On stock GNOME the tray icon needs the AppIndicator extension (Ubuntu already includes it).
Does it work with my glasses?
Works with Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta glasses, and meant for Bluetooth headphones without multipoint too.
Scambio only connects and disconnects a device you've already paired, through Linux's standard Bluetooth stack. Here's what we know so far (October 2026).
Tested
Oakley Meta HSTN with an iPhone, on Kubuntu with KDE Plasma. This is the hardware we use every day.
Works the same way
Every Meta glasses model: Ray-Ban Meta (all generations, Optics and Audio included), Oakley Meta, Meta Ray-Ban Display (audio) and Ray-Ban Stories. They all use the same standard Bluetooth audio connection and none of them has multipoint, so Scambio handles them the same way. We haven't tried each one ourselves: if something's off, tell us.
Headphones too
Bluetooth headphones without multipoint, like AirPods on Linux and many earbuds: if they pair with Linux as normal headphones, Scambio handles them. Not tested yet. Headphones with built-in multipoint (for example Sony WH-1000XM5 or Bose QuietComfort Ultra) don't need Scambio.

Controller: Fermich srl, Via Walther von der Vogelweide 11/A, 39031 Brunico (BZ), Italia, P. IVA 03195880210, REA BZ-240085. Contact: privacy@scambio.app. What we collect: your email address, the answers you give in the form (computer, phone and, if you choose, your device), the language of the page and the date and time of your consent. Why: to notify you when Scambio launches and to understand which platforms people want, so we know what to build next. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email we send (open it and confirm with one button; it takes effect immediately) or by writing to privacy@scambio.app; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. Who processes it: Fermich srl and Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website, stores the list and sends our emails as our processor (data stored in the EU region where available; transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Cloudflare's data processing agreement). We do not sell your data or share it with others for marketing. If an address doesn't exist, or someone using it marks one of our emails as spam, Cloudflare keeps that address on a technical list that blocks further emails to it, even after we've deleted it from our list. We don't track opens or clicks: our emails contain no tracking pixels or tracked links. Confirmation page: to check that a person, not an automated program, is confirming the sign-up, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It looks at technical data about your connection, device and browser (such as IP address and user agent), without cookies and not for advertising or profiling; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the list from automated sign-ups (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For this check Cloudflare acts as our processor; as an independent controller, it also uses this data to improve its bot detection (www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy). Downloads and update checks: we count requests per file per day. We don't store IP addresses or any other data about the request. How long: until 12 months after Scambio is available for all the computers you chose, but never longer than 24 months after you signed up, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Then we delete it. If you don't confirm your sign-up within 48 hours, we delete the request within the following 7 days (right away if you cancel it yourself). If you unsubscribe, we delete your address and answers right away and keep only a cryptographic code derived from your address (not the address itself), with the dates of your consent and withdrawal, so we can show we respected your choice (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); we delete it together with the rest of the list. Technical restore copies are overwritten within 30 days. Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, by writing to privacy@scambio.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country of residence.
